A CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA MILK-BOWL

The White Slip “Milk Bowl” is one of the most famous creations of the Late Cypriot Bronze Age. It was popular both locally and as an export item in the Mediterranean. This exterior decoration of the vessel suggests that it was hung when not in use. The perfection of the bowl shape may indicate that a gourd was used as a mold.
